PA systems, mics, amplifiers, and instruments are all provided by our bands and are suitable for indoor and marquee receptions.
Almost all our Cardiff bands will bring stage lighting as well, but check the band’s profile on the website.
Typically, party bands perform 2 x 60 minute or 3 x 40 minute sets with one or two short breaks between sets. For evening parties, they’d aim to arrive at around 6pm, and would need an hour to set up.

Firstly, booking a local Cardiff band will save you needless travel and accommodation expenses. Secondly, timing is everything. You’ll find the most competitive rates during the winter and on weekdays, so consider these times before setting your date.
Before booking your evening band, check if they can offer background music for your ceremony or drinks reception. Booking just one act will save on additional expenses.
Limiters set to 92dB or lower are likely to cause problems for most venues. First, see if the sound limiter can be turned off by the venue staff, though this may not be possible if it’s hard-wired.
If it cannot be turned off, let us know. The band may be able to replace live drums with electronic drums to keep levels under control and within the limits of the meter.
