A typical package for a Sheffield party band will include: 2 x 60 minute sets, arrival and set up from 5pm or 6pm (depending on the band), recorded music in their breaks and PLI and PAT certificates on request.
Typically they’ll play for 2 x 60 minute sets (this can also be split into 3 x 40 minute sets). They’ll aim to arrive in the early evening to set up and do a sound-check, and finish by midnight at the latest (bands booked for New Year will finish at 1am).

Noise limiters are intended to shut down the power supply to the band whenever the music or the audience's applause exceeds a specific volume. This is far from ideal for both band and audience, especially as sound levels are difficult to control.
Your venue may be able to deactivate the limiter, but if not, let us know so we can investigate whether or not it might be an issue for the band. We may have to recommend an acoustic performance or a band that uses electronic drums.
