Having had our team of experts examine the range of performers and artists across the county, we're confident that our roster will be able to cater to the needs and imaginings of any celebration.

Whether you're hoping to put on a show with one of our soul, Motown, pop or rock bands, have musicians wander among your guests playing acoustic covers or hoping to stage something altogether more sophisticated with a string quartet or jazz collective, the range of talent on display in the area can facilitate it all.

We specialise in party bands playing upbeat rock, pop and soul music from the 50s to the present day – these are the most popular genres for parties, corporate events and weddings.

But if mainstream isn't your thing, we also have Latin, ska, ceilidh and jazz bands. If you love the sounds of Motown, R&B and big brass sections how about hiring a soul band?

This page is dedicated to party bands, but we can also provide musicians during the earlier part of your day, not just at your evening reception.

For a wedding ceremony, you could hire one of our string quartets. For the perfect accompaniment to a cocktail party and drinks receptions, we can provide classical guitarists and pianists.

For a summer garden party or outdoor event, our steel bands and Dixieland jazz bands in are much in-demand!

All of our bands will come fully equipped for your event, though it's worth getting in touch if you think your event will exceed 250 guests, as extra equipment might then be necessary.

You just need to make sure that the band has a power source to plug in to and a space to perform! We recommend a flat and sheltered stage area of at least 3 x 3 meters for a 3-piece band – then add an extra metre squared per band member that you have booked.

A raised stage is preferable for maximum impact but not essential.

Before you book more musicians for afternoon background music, check whether members of your band can provide this – it'll save you additional costs, such as travel.

If you haven't yet set your event date, consider booking a midweek or winter date to take advantage of the most competitive rates.
