Most acoustic duos perform two 1-hour sets as standard. However, they can tailor their set lengths to suit your event schedule—just let us know your requirements when booking.
The price usually includes two 1-hour sets, all necessary equipment (such as PA system and instruments), and travel costs within a specified radius. If your venue is further afield, additional travel expenses may apply.
Yes, many acoustic duos are happy to perform outdoors. You would need to provide access to a power supply, as well as adequate shelter to protect their equipment from weather conditions like rain or direct sunlight. Be sure to discuss outdoor setup requirements with the duo in advance.
No, acoustic duos typically bring all the equipment they need, including instruments and a small PA system. Most will also need access to a power source if performing amplified.
Absolutely! Most acoustic duos are happy to learn a couple of special requests, such as your wedding ceremony song or a favourite tune, as long as they have enough notice before the event.
Acoustic duos require minimal space compared to full bands. A clear area of approximately 2m x 2m is usually sufficient, but it’s always best to confirm this with the duo.
Unless the duo includes a percussion instrument, such as a cajon drum, or performs to backing tracks, we generally wouldn't recommend booking them for evening events with dancing.
If you're also planning to have a band for dancing later in the evening, many of our wedding bands offer acoustic sets for the afternoon – booking one of these versatile bands could be a more seamless and practical option.
During their 1-hour sets, acoustic duos perform continuously. Between sets, they’ll usually take a short break of around 15–20 minutes, during which they can play background music through their PA system if requested.
If your event runs late and you’d like the duo to extend their performance, this can often be arranged on the day for an additional fee. It’s always best to discuss potential overruns in advance to avoid surprises.
To ensure availability, it’s best to book as early as possible, especially for peak dates like summer weekends or Christmas. Some duos can be booked months or even years in advance, so don’t delay!
While acoustic duos typically don’t require elaborate lighting, some may bring small lighting setups to create ambiance. If your event is in the evening or in a dimly lit space, check with the duo if lighting is included.
Many acoustic duos offer packages that include additional sets or options to perform during both the ceremony and drinks reception. If you need music for dancing later on, we recommend booking a wedding band offering acoustic daytime options, instead.
